Week Seven

Last week was very busy in our class. We did our writing samples and had one day in the Art Room. This week is much quieter. It is the last week we are doing report writing for a while and we are going to be writing about New Zealand birds. Today we learnt about the kakapo and tomorrow we will be writing about kiwis. We look forward to sending our published work home for parents to read.
Check out Sirocco the kakapo who thinks he is human on the DOC website. He is the spokesbird for conservation!

    Hi Room12,

    Room 13 here, we have been reading your blog. We read about the Kakapo too. Sounds like you have been really busy next door doing lots of report writing. We have too!
    Can't wait to read some of your published work on the Kiwi and the Kakapo.
