From now until the end of Week Five we are collecting old blankets and towels as well as pet food in a special box in our class for the SPCA. Please bring in any contributions you may have at home to help with this very worthy cause.
This is from the Auckland SPCA website:
HELP! We're in desperate need of food for the animals temporarily in our care! We've almost run out of food for our furry friends and we would really appreciate urgent donations of:
DOG wet food - cans, sachets
PUPPY wet & dry food - cans, sachets, dry biscuits, etc.
KITTEN wet food - cans, sachets
All brands of food are welcome, such as Hills, Whiskas, Chef, Pal, and so on.
* Next time you're passing our Animal Village at 50 Westney Road, Mangere, please call in to say 'Hi' to us and our furry friends and drop off the food at our main reception area.
On behalf of the animals in our care, THANK YOU for your support!

Term Two 2010- Class Update
Term Two 2010
This term is well underway and we are super busy.
There is heaps of learning going on in our class and many things around the school which keep us busy.
If you come into our class you could check out our fabulous descriptive writing and see some of our fabulous learning on the school wide theme of "What's Under Our Feet"
We have been finding out about changes of state in science in our learning about the Material World. We have discovered that everything on Planet Earth is either a liquid, solid or a gas.
